Definitely. Reading music is not a pre-requisite at all. You can also learn by ear, by reading TAB and/or by watching your part on the virtual fretboard included with your practice tracks. 

We're aiming for a blended sound like a choir or an orchestra. So, no, you probably won't hear your individual recording in the final mix... and that's how we know we're doing it right! 😁

Yes. But you're not permitted to alter the colours of your Uke Head or use the official "Uke Heads" wordmark or logo.

In other words, if you're Uke Head #242 you could use your Uke Head as a mascot for your ukulele club or even start a coffee shop called Uke Head 242 Coffee. But you can't start a coffee shop called "Uke Heads Coffee" using the Uke Heads logo and lettering without our permission.

(BTW, if you're planning to start an ukulele-themed coffee shop, let's talk... that sounds awesome!) ☕

Yes. Absolutely. 100%. You are in control of your subscription. You can change or cancel it at any time.

For example, if you decide that the music in the upcoming season isn't to your taste, you could downgrade to "Friend of the Band" to save some money and still stay in the loop with your bandmates.

Don't worry, all of the parts are written. You are not responsible for writing or arranging your own parts. Sheet music, TAB and play-along practice tracks are also provided to help you learn your part.

If you bought your Uke Head before August 1, 2023 you already have complementary "Friend of the Band" status. That means full access to the Uke Heads Library (sheet music, audio and video for every Uke Heads song) as well as access to our private social platform so you can connect with other Uke Heads.

However, if you'd like to participate in future recordings you will need to upgrade to "Member of the Band" status. This will give you access to online rehearsals with James, practice materials for new songs and the ability to upload your recordings.
